Zinc cut wire shot is produced from drawn zinc wire cut to length. The soft, dense cylindrical particles deflash and clean without cutting into the base material, leaving a bright, uniform surface.

It is widely used on zinc and aluminium die castings and on moulded parts where a gentle media with no ferrous contamination is essential.
